Submersible pumps are widely used in China. With continuous technological advancements, various models have emerged. In terms of media, there are three types: clear water, seawater, and wastewater. Installation methods include vertical, inclined, and horizontal. Generally, 304 stainless steel deep well pumps are widely used in production and life, with high flow rates and various lift heights (high and low).
Different application fields have different requirements for small submersible pumps, but generally, there are common performance standards. For continuous operation, the pump's design parameters, flow rate, and lift height must be appropriate. The impeller should not produce air turbulence under various operating conditions, and abnormal vibrations should not occur under any operating conditions. Generally, continuous operation is required, resulting in high pipeline pressure and sometimes deformation. This requires suppliers to provide the allowable range of thrust and torque exerted by the power plant pipeline on the pump interface. In addition, special attention should be paid to the maintenance of small submersible pumps during use. Some basic items are shared below.
Precautions for using small submersible pumps:
Clear water should be injected before operation. Especially in winter, when the machine is basically idle, remember to drain the water from the machine to prevent damage from freezing!
Check the insulation resistance of the equipment regularly. The resistance value should not be lower than 0.5mΩ. If it is lower, adjustments must be made immediately!
The temperature of the transported medium should be appropriate, preferably between 40 and 120 degrees Celsius, to avoid damage caused by excessive temperature!
The pH value of the transported substance should also be maintained within a certain range, preferably between 1 and 14.
If used for well drilling, the well must be straight, and the well casing cannot be arbitrarily misaligned. If used in a pool, a radiator should be installed.
With the development of industrial production and the increasing modernization of urban construction, the requirements for these materials are higher than before. When selecting small submersible pumps, the performance requirements of stainless steel pumps must be considered. Only through a thorough understanding can they be effectively utilized to improve production speed and quality of life.
In summary, a small submersible pump is a device assembled from a motor and a submersible pump. It can operate in groundwater or water bodies such as rivers, lakes, and seas. It has advantages such as small size, light weight, no need for priming before starting, no suction stroke limitations, no need for a separate pump room, convenient installation and use, embedded design, high efficiency, low price, and low investment. It can also be used for seawater flushing, cooling, and fire extinguishing on offshore oil platforms, as well as water supply boosting in thermal power plants, ship water supply, pipeline boosting, and underwater mineral collection in special situations.
